Why do I think people are staring at me?

I'm 12 years old, and I know my hormones are changing and stuff. whenever I wear something that is normal or suits me certain, I feel like people are looking at me. They do - their eyes suddenly swivel and then look directly into mine... am I paranoid ? 8(
