I walked in on stepdad masturbating?

I got up from my 1st floor bedroom to use the downstairs toilet late at night, when I walked into the living room my step dad was masturbating. I swivelled round on my heel and turned away walking back to my bedroom door opened it, paused and asked him a question loud enough for him to hear and waited a minute before walking through, not making eye contact with him. I made it seem like I didn't see anything...should i just leave it at that?
