Water Splashed On My iPhone Screen..Help 10Pts?

It is very, very unlikely that the water affected your iPhone, especially if it only got on the screen. The screen and most of the phone are waterproof. It could only be harmed if water got inside the phone and damaged the hardware. This would likely cause major problems, like never turning on again, rather than a slow slide bar. You are right that water is worse for electronics when they are on, but it has to get inside the phone first. iPhones are pretty resilient, I'm sure it will be fine. My old cellphone accidentally took a ride in the washing machine and still worked perfectly. If you ever find yourself with a very wet electronic device first make sure it is off, then put it in a bag of uncooked rice or somewhere warm to dry out for at least a week. Surprisingly many things will still work.
